Holiday Manager
The Holiday Manager lets you set holidays observed by your organization. These holidays display on the calendar to assist you in scheduling assignments. Holidays can be updated each year to reflect changes.
View / Edit Existing Holidays
To view or edit holidays for your organization:

Select Tools > Labor >Holiday Manager from the Main Menu.
The Holiday Manager window opens, listing currently defined holidays. Each holiday listed gives the following information:

Holiday Name — the name of the holiday

Country — the country in which the holiday is observed

Date — The date of the holiday.
If the holiday is on a fixed date, only the Month and Day of the holiday displays. For example, for Veteran's Day, 11 / 11 would be listed.

Fixed Date? — indicates whether the holiday occurs on the same month and date each year.

Double-click a holiday.
The Edit Holiday dialog box appears.

Make your changes.

Click the Apply button.
The Holiday Manager window re-appears.
Add New Holidays
To add a new holiday for your organization:

Select Tools > Labor >Holiday Manager from the menu.
The Holiday Manager window opens, listing currently defined holidays.

Click the New button.
The New Holiday window opens.

Complete the following fields:

Holiday Name — the name of the holiday

Country — the country in which the holiday is observed
This is important if your organization operates in multiple countries.

Date — the date of the holiday
If you would like both the actual and observed holidays to show on the calendar, you can create two holidays and specify one as observed. For example, you could list 7 / 4 as a fixed Independence Day, but have 7 / 5 defined as Independence Day Observed if the holiday was to be observed on a different day, such as a Monday.

Fixed Date? — indicates whether the holiday occurs on the same month and date each year
Fixed date holidays do not require a year to be specified in the Date field.

Click the Apply button.
The Holiday Manager window re-appears.
Delete Existing Holidays
To delete holidays listed in the Holiday Manager:

Select Tools > Labor >Holiday Manager from the menu.
The Holiday Manager window opens, listing currently defined holidays.

Select the holiday you would like to delete.

Click the Delete button.
A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

Click the OK button.
The Holiday Manager window re-appears without the deleted holiday.
